Venus is becoming easier to image with the introduction of high quality UV and IR filters. I have been able to find Venus in the middle of the day and image it when it is fairly high in the sky, giving me better quality images. This also allows me to image when Venus is both in the east and west. The first image is of the Venus transit of June 5, 2012.
